Damm participates in the 24th annual Alimentaria
• The company brings to the show the limited edition of Inedit Rosé, its special beer that reinterprets the 638 famous recipe from the elBulli catalogue: "Strawberries with bitter, mandarin, basil and sansho"
Damm, a leading company in the food and beverage sector, with a presence in the logistics, distribution and catering sectors, will be present at the 24th annual Alimentaria and Hostelco, one of the biggest international food industry events taking place at Fira de Barcelona's Gran Vía exhibition center between 18 and 21 March. The company returns, once again, to one of the essential events for companies in the food sector, where it brings the latest innovations of its brands.
The company brings to Alimentaria the limited edition of Inedit Rosé, created by Damm's master brewers based on the original Inedit recipe and made in collaboration with Ferran Adrià and the team of sommeliers at elBulli. This reinterpretation of the famous recipe 638 from the elBulli catalogue, "Strawberries with bitter, mandarin, basil and sansho" (2000), has been conceived as the ideal accompaniment to the aperitif and can be enjoyed during the fair. Also on display are two new Estrella Damm formats for the Food channel - the 25cl can and the 20cl bottle with bottle opener - as well as Voll-Damm and Xibeca, which are showing their new 500ml cans.
The company has also organised various tastings with its experts, in which those attending the fair can taste a selection of Damm products and learn about the secrets, characteristics and nuances behind the company's beers.
The more than 100,000 attendees that the fair expects to receive this year can also see the artwork "Behind the Bottle"; a videowall created with Artificial Intelligence and reusable Estrella Damm bottles in which a tribute to all the stories that have taken place around these bottles over the years will be reproduced. Under the idea that "everything is recyclable, even stories", Damm has opted to bring to Alimentaria an audiovisual project generated by AI in which the recycling of bottles and moments are transformed into a new form of art, creating a unique proposal around sustainability. Developed according to sustainable criteria, the space has been built with 87% reused elements and 94% recyclable materials.
The Alimentaria and Hostelco show returns to Barcelona 2 years after its last event in the city and does so in a format characterised by a strong international presence and the relevance of the HORECA channel. The seven halls of the fair host 3,200 exhibitors in a space of 100,000 net m2 distributed over 7 halls in which different sectors are represented, covering all the agents of the value chain.
