Estrella de Levante, official beer of the Soles Repsol 2024 Gastronomy Awards
The programme of activities for the awards included a special tapas route led by renowned chefs, as well as a gastronomic exhibition in the Plaza Mayor of the Port of Cartagena
Estrella de Levante has become the official beer of the Soles Guía Repsol 2024, the gastronomic awards which recognise the most outstanding chefs on the national scene and which this year awarded restaurants in the Region of Murcia such as Almo (Murcia) and El Poli (Águilas).
The Murcian brewery was present during the celebration of the Repsol Guide Suns Gala 2024, held in the Auditorio y Palacio de Congresos El Batel in Cartagena on 4 March. During the gala, chef David López from the restaurant 'Local de Ensayo' offered a special menu for the occasion focusing on vegetables as the main and characteristic ingredient of the Murcian garden.
Estrella de Levante also participated in several of the activities that took place between 28 February and 4 March for this gastronomy festival. On Sunday 3 March 'De Tapas con los Soles' took place, a special tapas route led by chefs Susi Díaz (La Finca), Chicote (Omeraki) and Lucía Freitas (A Tafona). They offered a reinterpretation of the most characteristic tapas of outstanding establishments in the centre of Murcia such as the bars Gran Rhin and Café Bar Verónicas and the restaurant Hispano.
Another of the activities in which the brewery was present was 'Cartagena de Sol en Sol', a gastronomic exhibition held in the Plaza Mayor of the Port of Cartagena. The event included a Estrella de Levante stand where the public could taste the different specialities on offer, as well as 6 other gastronomic stands.
