Damm participates again this year in the Magic Line SJD
More than 90 people, including company employees and their families and friends, took part in the solidarity walk promoted by the Obra Social de Sant Joan de Déu
Damm, in line with its commitment to the positive development of society, has once again joined the Magic Line SJD, the solidarity march promoted annually by the Obra Social Sant Joan de Déu. More than 90 people, including volunteers from the company and their families and friends, walked a total of 1,025 kilometers along the routes organized in Catalonia and Murcia.
For the eleventh annual walk, Damm has managed to raise a total of €17,000 in addition to the more than €400,000 collected by all the participants in the march. As in previous years, all the money raised will fund social and health programs at Sant Joan de Déu centers. Under the slogan "The more we walk, the more help we raise", the Damm Foundation has donated one euro for every kilometer covered by the collaborators in Catalonia and the Estrella de Levante Foundation for every kilometer covered in Murcia. During April, volunteers from the company will also join the solidarity walks that will be held in Madrid and Valencia.
For the last seven years, Damm has participated in the solidarity marches of the Obra Social Sant Joan de Déu as a sign of its commitment to collaborate in creating a fairer and more caring society. Since then, it has managed to raise a total of €59,283 thanks to the company's collaborators.
After having reached record numbers last year, the SJD Magic Line has walked another year to help and accompany people in vulnerable situations, turning solidarity into a lever for change towards a fairer and more empathetic future.
