Lewandowski receives his 2 "Golden Boot" at the Estrella Damm Old Brewery
Over 150 attendees were with the Polish international forward at the gala
Robert Lewandoski, current player for FC Barcelona, was awarded his second Golden Boot on November 9 at the Estrella Damm Old Brewery. This award recognizes him as the leading goal scorer from the Europan leagues from last season 2021/2022, thanks to his35 goals with Bayern Múnich.
Thank you very much, I am very proud, I've worked very hard to win this award, and I'd also like to thank my former teamates at Bayern", Lewandoski said during the ceremony. Regarding the competition for the next Golden Boot and his future at FC Barcelona, he showed himself to be prudent by saying that "what's best for me is that team win, beyond individual awards or scoring goals. But I will try to win back-to-back awards, although it will be difficult."
Once again, the old Estrella Damm Brewery has been the venue chosen by the European Sports Media and Brand to celebrate this gala, welcoming over 150 attendees. The Polish international forward was joined by a large delegation from FC Barcelona, including President Joan Laporta; current coach Xavi Hernández, Barça Atlètic coach Rafa Márquez, and former captain Carles Puyol, to name a few. Likewise, Jorge Vilavecchia, Damm CEO, and Ramon Agenjo, advisor to Damm and Director of the Damm Foundation, attended the event.
