"Giro de Guion", the new Cervezas Victoria spot
The piece, which forms part of "Curso de cine para cerveceros" (Film course for brewers), premieres as part of the Malaga Festival
From 1 to 10 March, Malaga will become the epicentre of art by hosting the 27th annual Malaga Film Festival, an event of which Cervezas Victoria is the official sponsor. For this reason, the Malaga brand has launched "Giro de Guion", a new campaign starring the Malaga actress and presenter Masi Rodriguez.
The spot is a continuation of the 'Film course for brewers' started in 2021, an initiative of Cervezas Victoria to explain some of the most common film terms to film and beer lovers.
"Giro de Guion" tells the meaning of this cinematic term, which is defined as an event that gives a new impetus to the plot and diverts it in a different direction from the one it was taking until then. For this, Cervezas Victoria has counted on Masi Rodríguez and Miguel Ángel Martín, actor from Malaga and content creator in his profile @Tunomandas, who already participated in a previous spot of "Curso de cine para cerveceros".
In the piece, the protagonist makes an emotional review of the great screenplay twists in the history of our cinema: from Paz Vega and Antonio Banderas' great trip to Hollywood to the great foreign films shot in different parts of Spain. "With this spot, Cervezas Victoria wants to pay tribute to the great achievements of the Malaga Festival and Spanish cinema. We are very satisfied with the result of such an emotional and close piece", says Jose Villalobos, Brand Manager of Cervezas Victoria.
The spot has been filmed in different locations such as the Cervezas Victoria brewery and Bodegas el Pimpi, as well as in the vicinity of the most representative places of the Malaga Festival such as the Cervantes Theatre and the Albéniz Cinema.
The campaign was developed by Jon Lavín together with creative directors Miguel Hijón and Rafael Martínez Gonzalvo, while the production of the piece was carried out by the director, Juan Gama with the Eleventh Floor production company.
'Giro de Guion' will be broadcast on Cervezas Victoria's Youtube channel and other digital platforms, and can be seen in full on Cervezas Victoria's social networks (@cervezavictoria) before and during the Malaga Festival.
