Damm renews their certificate as a family-responsible company

The seal awarded by the MásFamilia Foundation accredits the policies developed with regard to work-life balance, equality, diversity and non-discrimination

The MásFamilia Foundation once again awards Damm with the Family-Responsible Company (EFR in Spanish) badge, which recognises the company’s focus on ensuring the work-life balance of their associates. The commitment to fostering a corporate culture that promotes work-life balance, equality, diversity and non-discrimination has enabled the company to go up in category and attain the level of COMMITTED company, C+.

People are Damm’s most valuable asset. As such, the job quality and well-being of their teams are a top priority for the company. Receiving the EFR certificate, awarded by the MásFamilia Foundation with the support of the Ministry of Social Rights, Consumer Affairs and 2030 Agenda, highlights the importance of Damm’s commitment to implementing measures that favour a balance between the work, family and personal lives of the more than 5,500 individuals who are part of the company.

Through an external audit conducted by AENOR, in which an analysis was made of all the measures being carried out with regard to equality and respect for work-life balance, as well as the staff’s perception of these measures, the company attained the level of work-life balance C+, with which the MásFamilia Foundation recognises the company’s high degree of involvement in promoting a work and family balance within its teams.

During the past few years, Damm have worked to offer an equal, diverse and inclusive work environment in which personal and professional development and growth are fostered. This commitment has led Damm to implement work-life balance measures, in addition to conducting different work environment surveys and psychosocial studies that enable the company to keep driving improvement actions. Some of the highest-rated initiatives are flextime schedules that grant employees autonomy over their start and finish times, family support measures, equal opportunities and the job security policy.
