Damm, part of the 23th edition of Alimentaria
Damm is one of the 3000 companies participating in the exhibition, whose objective is to incentivize the business aspect, the internationalization, and the reactivation of the food and hospitality industry.
The Gran Vía de Fira Barcelona venue hosted the 23th edition of Alimentaria y Hostelco, the International Catering, Beverage, and Food Service fair between the 4 and 7 of April, which has been visited by over 100000 people.
This important food industry event has returned to the city after four years since its last edition, with the purpose of boosting the business aspect, the internationalization, and the reactivation of certain sectors that are key for the economy. Damm has been one of the 3000 companies that have participated this year within a 300m² venue, which has been visited by over 4000 people during the four days.
Also this year, Estrella Damm has sponsored one of the fair's showcased spaces, "the Experience Live Gastronomy". This is an area devoted to cooking shows, workshops and presentations, which has boasted the participation of over 30 chefs such as Nandu Jubany, Carlota Claver, Oriol Castro, Eduard Xatruch and Mateu Casañas.
Innovation, gastronomy, sustainability, and social responsibility have defined the activities agenda of both fairs, which combined their classic content with experiences and knowledge gained within the business realm following the pandemic. In total, Alimentaria y Hostelco had 85000 square meters devoted to the catering and hospitality industry.
