Voll-Damm presenta "El otro lado", su nueva campaña con Luis Tosar y Carolina Yuste

Los dos actores vuelven a compartir pantalla en lo último de la doble malta de Damm

Luis Tosar and Carolina Yuste reunite to star in "El otro lado” (The other side), the new Voll-Damm campaign that aims to break with the "tough guy” stereotype associated with both the double malt and the character played by the Galician actor in the saga "Doble o Nada" (Double or Nothing). Because his character is not incompatible with gentleness.

Appearances are often deceiving. And Luis Tosar's character knows it well. He, seemingly a tough guy, known as the terror of inexperienced bartenders, of those who don't know how to properly pour a beer and those who don't appreciate that not all beers are the same, also hides a sensitive, tender side. Because, in this life, not everything is black and white. There are shades of grey, there are nuances.

Almost as many as Voll-Damm: a beer of great intensity and character that, when savoured, reveals a unique complexity of flavours and aromas. One sip is all it takes to perceive the delicate aroma of hops from the Hallertau region of Bavaria, as well as the subtle roasted notes of the double malt.
With an incredulous Carolina Yuste as witness, Luis Tosar enjoys a Voll-Damm while he unveils the secrets of its production and lets himself get carried away by the nuances of the double malt. A moment of introspection, calm and tranquillity—ideal for enjoying a Voll-Damm, as it should be. It will reveal a hitherto unknown side of the actor: his "other side", caressing a lamb, embroidering a panda or even swaying to the sounds of a ballad. Because character and sensitivity are not incompatible.

Once again conceived by creative Oriol Villar and directed by Martin Jalfen, the campaign follows in the wake of the four previous instalments of the "Double or Nothing" saga, directed by Daniel Monzón (2016), Dani de la Torre (2018) and Alberto Rodríguez (2021 and 2023).  

From today and throughout March and April, the new Voll-Damm campaign can be seen on outdoor, digital media, social media, TV and connected TV platforms, as well as on the double malt's website: www.volldamm.com.


About Voll-Damm

Damm brewed its first Märzenbier in 1953. In the early years, it was only produced from October to April, while the rest of the year it was discontinued. It was in 1955, due to its great success, that it was decided to manufacture it continuously and it was christened as Voll-Damm, which in German means full, complete. A name that perfectly matched the character of this double malt beer.

Since then, Voll-Damm has kept its original recipe unchanged, brewed with 100% natural ingredients, using only pure barley varieties and malted in our own malting plant. Over the years, it has retained its unmistakable flavour: strong, intense, full-bodied and with a touch of its characteristic bitterness. That same taste that has made it unique, and earned it numerous international awards over the course of its over 70-year history.
