Cervezas Victoria receives the 'Malagueño of the Year' award
Demetrio Carceller Arce, executive chairman of Damm, received this award at the 24th annual Malagueños del Año Awards, presented by the editorial staff of Diario SUR.
Cervezas Victoria was recognised at the 24th annual Malagueños del Año awards in the business category. Demetrio Carceller Arce, Damm's executive president, collected the award at a gala held on Monday 18 December at the Palacio de Ferias y Congresos in Malaga.
In his presentation speech, Carceller Arce expressed his satisfaction with the brand's growth both nationally and internationally and attributed the success to "the Cervezas Victoria team, to whom we owe the relaunch of the brand in Malaga".
In addition, the executive president of Damm highlighted the importance of Cervezas Victoria in the context of industrial Malaga with its brewery located in the La Azucarera industrial estate, which has facilities of 3,500 square metres dedicated to brewing beer and an innovation department.
The Victoria brewery has also become an essential meeting place for the social and cultural life of the city, with the organisation of dozens of activities, visits and tastings that attract thousands of people every year.
The editors of Diario SUR, organiser of the awards together with Unicaja Banco, present these prizes in recognition of the work carried out by individuals or institutions in the province of Malaga.
