Over 50 establishments in the centre are taking part in 'Murcia de Tapas', the Estrella de Levante tapas route
The Murcia brand has organised this event as a tribute to regional cuisine and to showcase the most outstanding places in the city of Murcia
Estrella de Levante has announced the new edition of 'Murcia de Tapas', which takes place from 24 October to 3 November. This gastronomic event will feature the participation of 57 establishments in the centre of Murcia.
Each of the participating bars and restaurants will offer their own special tapa, designed to highlight the flavours of the region and be paired with the Murcian brand’s beers. A tapa and a small beer costs 3.90 euros. 'Murcia de Tapas' is back to pay tribute to Murcia cuisine and showcase outstanding places in the city such as Plaza de las Flores and the University district.
Vicente Plaza, Trade Marketing Manager at Estrella de Levante, explains that “during the ten days of Murcia de Tapas, attendees will be able to try a selection of tapas as delicious and appetizing as: Black Toast, John Dory Goujons, Crunchy Brandade, Sirloin in Pepper and Almond Sauce, Elver and Shrimp Roll, Flambéed Razor Clam and a Chickpea Stew with Langoustine, among others. All the tapas are original and have been created especially for the route”.
In addition, those who participate and vote for their favourite tapa will be entered into a draw for a dinner worth 100 euros at their favourite restaurant on the route. The list of establishments participating in the route, opening hours and information on tapas can be found on the Gastronosfera website. Route information will also be available in the Unblock app, from Murcia Inteligente, the official app of the city of Murcia.
