Estrella de Levante donates more bottled water and extends logistical support
The beer brand continues to make donations and increases support in Almería and Albacete
Estrella de Levante continues to help the relevant authorities by providing bottled water, food distribution and logistical support to the regions of Murcia, Alicante, Almeria and Albacete, especially increasing collaboration in these last two regions. This week, the beer brand donated 3,000 bottles of bottled water to the Torrecárdenas Hospital in Almería and to the Hermandad Donantes de Sangre in Albacete.
In addition, Estrella de Levante is keeping up its weekly water donations to other centres such as Jesús Abandonado in Murcia, the Enrique Roca Stadium, set up as a base for drivers, or the Banco de Alimentos de la Región de Murcia (the Murcia region food bank), as well as various humanitarian aid organisations in Cartagena.
The company also continues to collaborate with Cáritas and the Red Cross in the distribution of essential food and drinks and refrigerators in different parts of the region, such as Beniaján, Calasparra, Archena and Ceutí. This logistical support would not be possible without Estrella Levante distributors Herederos de Montoya, Herederos de Sánchez Ruiz and Cerbeleva, who deliver olives, tomatoes, tins and jars of food or bananas to the centres that serve food to families in need.
