Damm raises more than €13,000 participating in the Magic Line
More than 170 people from the company took part in the 8th edition of this solidarity movement
On 13 June, more than 170 people from Alfil Logistics, Damm, Estrella de Levante and Font Salem took part in the Magic Line, the solidarity movement in favour of people in vulnerable situations. It is organised every year by Obra Social Sant Joan de Déu and with which Damm regularly collaborates as part of its volunteering plan.
On this occasion, the company launched the sporting challenge "The more we walk, the more we help", whereby Damm Foundation and Fundación Estrella de Levante would donate €1 for every kilometre walked. The people from the different Damm companies who took part in the challenge, through a total of 44 bubble teams, travelled more than 2.000 km and, in total, between the km travelled and collaboration with creating teams, the company raised more than €13,000.
The eighth annual Magic Line was attended by 5,700 people as part of more than 900 teams, and raised more than €160,000, which will go entirely to social and health projects to help alleviate the effects of Covid-19.
