Damm lights up with pink in support of the fight against breast cancer
The company joins the action whose aim is to raise awareness regarding prevention of this illness
For another year, the front of the Estrella Damm old brewery (Barcelona), Estrella Damm plant production at El Prat de Llobregat (Barcelona), Plataforma Continental (Madrid), Victoria (Málaga) and Estrella de Levante (Murcia) will light up with pink from eight in the evening of October 19 until eight in the evening the following morning, in order to commemorate the International Day Against Breast Cancer, which is promoted by the World Health Organization (WHO), and includes the active participation of the Spansh Asociation Against Cancer (AECC in Spanish).
This effort, which other iconic buidlings in Spain have joined, helps the AECC raise awareness regarding the importance of preventing breast cancer, and the symptoms to take into consideration for early detection. Furthermore, the Spanish Association Against Cancer, works to impart health education, support and accompany sick individuals and their families, and fund research projects that will allow for better cancer diagnoses and treatments.
