Damm joins forces with universities to promote innovation
The company cooperates with several educational entities to implement a series of innovation programs
Regarding the open innovation project powered by Damm during the past few months, which was created to develop creative solutions thanks to different stakeholders, the cooperation with universities and other educational entities has become a recurrent strategy for the organization.
Besides its alliance with the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC), through which they launched the Damm Innovation Hub program, Damm has also cooperated with institutions such as the Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF), the Universitat de Barcelona (UB) and some other vocational training centers.
These innovation processes are organized by the company and the educational institutions and led by Damm's Digital Transformation department. They are aimed to propose strategic challenges about technology, sustainability, innovation, etc. to students from different centers, school years and specializations in order to create synergies and disruptive ideas.
Some of the main initiatives are the StartUB! program, created in cooperation with the UB, and InnovaFP!, addressed to vocational education students. Both of them have been designed to propose sustainability challenges that will be addressed by the students in the coming weeks.
