The Damm Foundation invites Damm employees to the Joan Miró Foundation
Damm employees were able to enjoy the "Miró. His most intimate legacy" exhibit
Yesterday afternoon, the Damm Foundation invited 26 people from Damm to the Joan Miró Foundation, where they were able to enjoy the "Miró. His most intimate legacy" exhibit. Damm employees, along with their families and friends were able to attend a guided tour accompanied by Marko Daniel, Director of the Joan Miró Foundation, and Dolors Rodríguez, the exhibit commissioner. Also present were Ramon Agenjo, Vice-president and Director of the Damm Foundation, and Sara Puig, President of the Joan Miró Foundation, who welcomed the attendees.
"Miró, the most intimate legacy" opens a door to the more personal Joan Miró, the one that throughout the years, and when circumstances allowed, expressly reserved works, drawings, and sketches that allowed him to keep an emotional connection with his work, and at the same time, served as tools to review his career and artistic evolution. The exhibit presents some one hundred and eighty pieces, among which are eighty works by Joan Miró, which follow almost his entire artistic career, from 1910 when Miró was 17 years old, until 1976.
Since 2021, the Damm Foundation has become the new patron for the Joan Miró Foundation, so it can contribute to bringing the Catalan painter's, sculptor's, engraver's, and ceramist’s artistic legacy closer to society. For more information, please visit: https://www.fmirobcn.org/en/
