Damm continues to support training and education
The company promotes a training project in collaboration with CUNEF under the agreement between the institution and Damm Foundation
Damm is the main subject of the latest "Business case competition 2021" edition, an academic competition powered by the Spanish finance college CUNEF, in which the students will analyze a case proposed by the brewing company: "Estrella Damm case: strategy in the United States".
The case was presented last Wednesday 7 April at the CUNEF headquarters located in Madrid. Álvaro Cuervo, CUNEF president, opened the ceremony and gave the floor to Demetrio Carceller Arce, Damm executive president and Damm Foundation president, and to Jaume Alemany, Damm Marketing, Export and Communication director. They highlighted the importance of promoting initiatives that combine education, innovation and creativity, such as this one. Isabel Negra, Estrella Damm Marketing Manager, and Guillem Castellà, exports director, presented the Estrella Damm case that needs to be analyzed by the students within 4 days.
Next 18 April we will know the three finalist teams, who will then present their work on 21 April before a jury composed by members of the college and Damm representatives. The company will offer all the teams, that is a total of 9-12 participants, the chance to live a real-life professional experience by joining an internship program and getting to know the facilities and the executive team personally.
This initiative takes place under the collaboration agreement between CUNEF and Damm Foundation, through which the latter becomes an institutional associate of the academic center. The agreement states the foundation's collaboration in several academic and applied research activities at CUNEF, as well as the creation of joint initiatives that contribute to the development of both entities' members.
